Special Members' Meeting

A Special Members Meeting will be held at 2.00 pm on Saturday 25th July 2009 to consider the following resolutions:

WE RESOLVE:

1. that a new charitable company limited by guarantee be set up called the British Wheel of Yoga;
2. that the current British Wheel of Yoga, an unincorporated association, transfers all its assets and liabilities to the new charitable company; and
3. that the current British Wheel of Yoga, an unincorporated association, be dissolved.
4. that a new company be set up called the British Wheel of Yoga Qualifications which shall be a subsidiary of the new charitable company, the British Wheel of Yoga.

All voting members of the British Wheel of Yoga are invited to attend the meeting (please bring your membership card). The meeting will take place at the Coventry University Sport and Recreation Hall, Whitefriars Street, Coventry, CV1 2DS.

The venue has been chosen as it is fairly central, is approximately 5 minutes walk from the railway station, and has car parking available. As the venue is a sports facility attendees are asked to wear appropriate footwear, such as soft shoes: there will no chairs available for seating. The meeting will commence at 2.00 pm in order that attendees can have lunch beforehand.
